B.C Bertrand was founded in 1965 by Hubert Taïeb and specialised first in classical interior decoration, then expanded into contemporary design and opened Bertrand Prestige. Hubert Taïeb and Patsy Taïeb passed away in 2025. Today Laurent Taïeb carries the torch, with support from interior designers Pascale Taïeb, Melinda Freitas and Yana Khlavna, and with Sacha Taïeb — Laurent’s son — leading commercial development. From consultation and design to manufacturing, delivery and installation, the house delivers exceptional residential and commercial projects worldwide.

The story of Bertrand Prestige
Behind BC Bertrand stands first and foremost the story of a creator. Trained at the architecture school in Sweden in 1964, Hubert Taïeb never left his sketchpad or his pencil — giving life to exceptional pieces. With Patsy Taïeb, he built a family maison and passed that passion to their son Laurent and to Pascale. After Hubert and Patsy’s passing in 2025, Laurent carries the torch, joined by his son Sacha on commercial development — refining knowledge and craft so every realisation still bears the seal of art.

An architect’s hand

Laurent took up the torch and opened Bertrand Prestige at 14 Avenue de Friedland in Paris — carrying Hubert’s codes forward, reinterpreted for contemporary demand.

From worksite to final finish
Since 2025, Laurent leads the maison with Sacha, his son, in commercial development. Projects are delivered from A to Z: worksite, decoration and the last finishing details — across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.
